BlackKnight Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 There are certain Street Fighter combos that are just so right that they happen naturally, almost without planning, kinda like music. Games Radar was in our offices earlier this week, getting a little hands-on combo time with the SFIV cabinets that Seth is usually jealously guarding like a dragon squatting on a pile of gold. Unsurprisingly, they found that some of the classic SF combos work in SFIV just as they did in Street Fighter II.What they haven’t shown you here — what we haven’t really shown anyone, yet — are the combos that are entirely new to the game. Seth has been quietly mastering a series of combos with Zangief that require skillful use of the Revenge Gauge, Cancel techniques and a fully powered Super Combo meter but results in almost 100% damage. Plus, he managed to beat the entire marketing group last night with a single hand. Scary! Source: Capcom.Unity.
L.S.D Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Lol, i thought those are staple combos. you can execute those in ever fighting game with SF characters
Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 ...results in almost 100% damage...FAIL.
Chibi Kami Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 I remember when re-dizzy combos were introduced in Super SF2. They'd make you fake out the machine with half-moves and whatnot to squeeze off the special without really doing it. Wonder if they work in 4.
Devia Eleven Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Is this a good thing that the combos still work?
Inky Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 ...results in almost 100% damage...FAIL.oh please... like your precious KOF doesn't have any cheesy big combos.
