I will start off on a new song I am trying to write lyrics for

 

 

Tonight, I can't tell smoke from breath.

They pulse and twist in tight circles like a worm

touched by flame. I imagine that if I bend close enough

to a single flake of frost, a reflection will glow

back at me, inverted: a cat backing out of a pail:

yellow seeping into light bulbs: the ground settling

into itself: and in the center, writhing clouds

of smoke and breath disappear into my face,

dull and white as a star through fog.

I'm surprised this has yet to be hit up...

Here's something I wrote a long time ago:

 

I kneel down and drink the clear, cool water from the spring

To my health - did I remember to breath?

Its force flows through my veins

To my life - teach me to sing

Drawn in the twilight is your perfect image, and it's dancing in my heart

it skips a beat

The chill from the spring fixates my thoughts upon you

I dream

I once was here but now I'm gone

I left my name to carry on

Those who knew me knew me well

Those who didn't can go to hell

who invented a new kind of tank

he thought it would float

just like a boat

but when he tried it,it sank.
