BlackKnight Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 I have an XBOX 360 which renders games at 1280x720 and an LCD monitor whose native resolution is 1680x1050. The 360 doesn't itself support any 16:10 resolutions. Quick question - if I can set which resolution the XBOX outputs, given scaling and a lack of 1:1 pixel mapping, which res should I set to get the best picture; 1280x7201280x7681360x7681920x1080 ?
Inky Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I guess no one has an answer, on the monitor I used to use it wouldn't scale down from a larger res. mine was 1600x900. I used 1360x768 and it seemed fine to me. on the TV i have now I use 1080i and I really don't see a difference. maybe I am blind.... lol
ken_cinder Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I'm attaching a TXT file with my response, as it appears the server doesn't like the content found within. I don't see why, theres nothing wrong with the text whatsoever. lcdres.txt
