It doesn't need a remake anyways, the game got a 10/10 and is one of the best games ever released for the Playstation.

If you watch the 2nd ending of CC:FFVII on PSP, it IS hinting of a remake of FFVII. For which platform, it is not confirmed though

I don't see why it would be released on any other platform except the PS3, the CG presented in the opening movie looked to heavy for the PS2's capabilities.

Drake are you talking about the second CC ending where they show Cloud arrive on the train? that's just exactly the same PS3 tech demo shown few years ago.
