To put it into perspective a bit, only 120MB of the 4.4gigs is BP's work. Actually a lot less than that, but the vast majority of the package is roms which can be easily acquired elsewhere. No offence to BP of course. I seeded to around 6.5 gigs personally but that's how it goes. It's a shame to see so many hit'n'runners though.
RMM Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 I need to know if anyone wants settings back or if they want classics sort mode gone its been mentioned if there is support for it ill patch it out or if there is a better way to do this stuff let me know I would think some type of settings screen would be helpful to everyone. You could also add an option to turn free play/unlimited credits off or on since some people are complaining about free play. That way people can choose if they want it off or on and everyone is happy. Also, maybe you can have an option in your settings menu as to what button combos would bring up an in game menu. On the in game menu you could have options to save the game, load a game, return to game, return to games list or return to dashboard. The button combo you use to get to this in game menu would be determined by what the user selected in the expanded settings menu. Either right thumbstick, back + start or perhaps just the start button by itslef like many of the old consoles used.
RMM Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 One other thing. From my viewpoint I dont think the opening CoinOPS screen is needed. You have the title of "CoinOPS" and a note at the bottom saying "press any button" My question is why not just have CoinOPS start at the games screen instead of having to push a button to get to it.
BritneysPAIRS Posted April 9, 2008 Author Posted April 9, 2008 Im looking at new settings at the moment and one is to remove the spash screen...free play was added to 2 or 3 games so I wont be adding a setting sorry....there are some new ones going in but more soon on these.
Cospefogo Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 BP, I think it would be nicer to see some LETTER SORT SEPARATOR while we scroll the game list, in both ways (regular scroll and fast scroll [Y+scroll]) As I mentioned to you previously, this was one of my suggestions.Below is just a quick mock-up illustrating the idea.
