Yeah, I thought that was a mistake when I first checked earlier today. That's not good. It might be a TRAP!

I'm a member of a few nice private trackers as is.

IMO, private trackers are a joke, and nothing but a false sense of security. If anyone can get an account at these private trackers, then so can law enforcement, RIAA, MPAA, or whatever. It's only a matter of time.

Exactly. Plus you can get obscure things and still find people seeding them~

Exactly. Any perceived security benefits are clearly non-existant, or as good as.

I couldn't care less about security, it's the fact that you find those obscure things that warms me up. Plus, you can always request even more obscure stuff, someone's bound to have them. And most private trackers don't have their registrations up a lot of the time so it's harder for anyone to get an account without an invite.

I just tried my old username/password and it works fine. In Control Panel there is an invitation code generator, although how many it will let me make I don't know. I tried it once though and it spat out an invite.
