Yes i tried it with 2 smalls games ( Photo Y2K and Puzzle star), just for fun and to see (i didn't use VMM, which is necessary to launch almost of the others games due to her size) : http://www.mameworld.net/maws/romset/photoy2k http://www.mameworld.net/maws/romset/puzlstar Works well, but both have a small amount of data, in contrary of Knights of valour for exemple. I can't assert if it can run on Xbox, but if you look at PGM hardware: http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=809 It can be compare to Neogeo MVS hardware, PGM is just slighty powerfull. Honestly i think it's possible to run it on Xbox (iq_132 what do you think about that? ), but i don't have the level to do it (maybe a day? lol). fumanchu Posted May 20, 2008 Share Posted May 20, 2008 yes i see what you mean,the specs for pgm are not that different from neogeo,so its possible.i run knights of valour and a few other pgm games on mamedox coinops and they play really well.it would be good to have knights of valour2 and dodonpachi2 running on xbox.so good luck anyway and keep up the good work. It'd be worth a try and you'd definitely have to make use of fba-xxx's VMM code to do it. The only thingthat would worry me is that the PGM is twice as powerful as the Neo-Geo --I'm not entirely sure that the hdd can stream data fast enough to keep up with what's being put on the screen. btw, check your PM box on NeoSource, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
