fumanchu Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 (edited) im running my xbox1 through scart at the moment,but i really want to get an hd cable for the xbox,to run on my 37inch LCD.can anyone out there tell me if it is worth getting and maybe recommend some with links if at all possible.questions.what is the best resolution that you can get from xbox games?(can some do 720p).what resolutions can you get for your emulators and games,i know some emulators output at 720p and 1080i,but is that just the emulator skin or are you actually getting your game(rom)in hd as well?i know some xbox games out put at higher than 480p,anyone know which games these are? gavin19 Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 Definately get the HD cables, I got mine from Game about a year ago, well worth the money. Database of 720p/1080i Xbox games. Very, very few support 720p+ as you can see from that list. I think some games even have 720p cutscenes but not in-game eg. Scarface. Some emus do have 720p/1080i in game not just the GUI. One of the reasons people use FBAxxx for CPS, NeoGeo is precisely because it allows 720p/1080i, which currently Mame emus do not. Some others do too eg. Zsnes. Bear in mind the games don't look that much better as they are just upscaled to 720p, they aren't natively HD. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
