Work is a trip!

Tonight was real slow. When the images ran out, we had a blast. Joking back and forth, and it was actual funny, not that boring heh, but laughing out loud... If only I had a camera running, I would have almost had a pilot to a show. Myspace Office... or whatever.

 

I got paid, to do basically nothing, and I still ended up making them money. We have some real characters in there, me being one of them. The boss is awesome, and we already fired all the assholes who fall asleep and come in late. And the few people in my row, are dubbed Elite, and so when the images start getting low, everyone else gets sent home, and we get to continue raking in the cash, while we BS all night.

 

The main manager, says I might become a shift manager, sometime in the near future. But who knows what tomorrow brings. If I were to be a Shift Manager, Id work 9 hours a day, every day, and only get 2 days off a month. But Id be raking in some cash. But I don't really know if id except it if it did swing my way.

 

So for the time being, I will review images, of which sometimes blows your mind, or make you laugh your ass off. I see so many things...

 

I have noticed that the uglier someone is, the more pics they take, and post on MySpace. There will be like 30 shots, all are almost identical, save for a slight... SLIGHT adjustment in posture or angle. AND THEY WILL POST ALL OF THEM!!! Why the hell? I take like 20 pics to find the 1 good one... and I post that 1 good one, not the 19 almost identical ones too. When you guys see a pic of me here posted, It was from a batch of usually 10+ pics, just to get it right. And my main dilemma, is alot of these people, need to not take so many pics in the first place...

 

And you can tell if a girl is trying to get a boyfriend... She uploads like 20+ pics of various "sexy poses" (sometimes an epic fail) and practically hoe it out. I get sick of seeing kids put their peace sign together, to form a star. Thats so lame. Or photos of their hands making a heart. I also get sick of seeing stupid Blingy pics and other various crap. Pics with stupid preset graphics, like sun glasses or a pirate hat.... bah!

 

But I get to see some of the coolest crap too, without having to go from site to sight. It's all there, somewhere posted in MySpace. It's like the Nexus of the internet. I think it's like the 3rd or 4th largest sight, so there is plenty of exposure. It's like news, for the internet. But alas, sometime you see things you really don't want to, like gay porn, or some chick, with "Meat Curtains". But thats how it goes...

 

So basically... my job is ridiculous... I get paid to look at pics, and goof off. Tonight was a good night.

so you have access to everyones profile ? or just see the images that are flagged ?

Images I view, are from a dump, that have yet to be reviewed. So all I see are a ton of pics, in order of user ident code.

Well thanks, but things have changed... yet again... The 3rd shift has been dissolved, so now I gotta redo my sleep schedule. Work is fun, but it has a price. I believe I will be getting a new job soon. You have no idea how ridiculous the work environment is. I'm currently writing a report, so I will not disclose anything yet...
