All of the characters have the same Sasquatch type attacks. Looks like Midway went ahead and threw any type of real Martial Arts out of the window.

this is supposed to be closer to MKIII. they've done away with multiple styles and weapons.

Ask fatal if anything remotely resembles real life martial arts. Or any other form of fighting besides throwing fists.

Dude, come on, Mortal Kombat has been filled with authentic martial arts from the get go. Like teleportation, freezing people in place with balls of magical ice, and the classic ripping someones spine out of their body (every good martial artist knows that one). Name one move here that isn't completely based in reality.

My point is ATTEMPT to put some form of realism into the game.

 

Anime does a better job at expressing fights ffs.
