I know they were just picked for looking good in the original but if some thought has gone into how to fit a decent amount into the new ones they could have latched onto the idea, then again it could all be a coincidence as you suggest. One thing may be for sure & that's we probably won't find out which is the explanation they are going for, assuming either of those two possibilities is anywhere near the mark
