BlackKnight Posted May 17, 2008 Share Posted May 17, 2008 Why were you surprised they got Jet Li? His profile isn't very high. Also, as much as I love the Mummy series, this is going to blow. There is a screenplay floating around... legit... and just plain awful. Check the IMBd boards and you'll get the tone of the arguments why this is going to suck. Or hunt down the script and decide for yourself. Awful pity, I think. Also also I hate the whole Chinese gimmick thing. Rises the bile, it does. Aye, first one was a nice popcorn one. Anyway I may have a look at it. Good to have more variety of adventure next to Pirates, Indy, etc. Let's see if it does well.
