L.S.D
This is a fighting game that I admire for it's realism, along with Virtua Fighter and Tekken. You are joking right?Man, DOA is the series with the least realism in it. But that doesn't mean it is not fun
Devia Eleven
How does it not contain realism?
BlackKnight
How does it not contain realism?Well, the ludicrous endings in DoA4 contain very little realism~ Neither physically nor conceptually
Devia Eleven
I'm talking about the gameplay, what makes it so unrealistic?
BlackKnight
I'm talking about the gameplay, what makes it so unrealistic?I thought you were joking. The art style is cartoon-y.There's no blood.Ninja characters can do 'magic'.Most of the fighting styles are represented poorly / made up altogether.Incredible strength of the stick-skinny female characters.Excessive violence, smashing through walls etc. There's a T-Rex ffs. You could say a few of those things carry over to Tekken or VF or whatever, but not all of them.
Devia Eleven
In that particular instance, the same could be said about many other fighting games. Name a fighting game that is considered as realistic.
L.S.D
Don't forget the gravity-defying boobs bouncing.

Name a fighting game that is considered as realistic.Virtua Fighter. Apart from a statue boss, what's unrealistic there? Also both Tekken and VF attempt to make it look like real people are fighting, not dolls.
L.S.D
VF has the most realistic fighting mechanic. The moves are move believable and you can actually believe that those moves can be performed in real life. Of cos those air juggles are still logic defying
