gavin19 Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Wow, that's quite a break in between builds. Must give it a go. It'll be interesting to see which games are working now compared to 1.6, if any.
Alpha Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 This has been getting a lot of coverage around the Internets. http://digg.com/playstation/ePSXe_1_7_0_FINALLY_released
Devia Eleven Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 Posting a link to wnasp32.dll is redundant as a system file is also required for aspi to work so you should link to the Adaptec ASPI download site. Most people using XP should be using IOCTL anyway. ASPI is only needed on 9x, which already has a built in ASPI anyway. Only the internal plugins will receive any support from the developers, and several third party CDR plugins no longer work in 1.7 (they require updating)
Tynvar Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 Wow this is the best news of the day. Probably the week. Can't wait to get home.
Agozer Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 Chrono Cross no longer needs the Odd/even bit hack to prevent crashing at the Status menu. Whee.
Kenshinsama Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Chrono Cross no longer needs the Odd/even bit hack to prevent crashing at the Status menu. Whee. Nice! I wonder if this fixes any of the shader issues I had in Parasite eve...though that also coulda been my graphic card.
