PSP Firmware 4.00 Decrypted

The analysis report is in. The crew who delivered custom firmware 3.95 GEN have successfully decrypted and shared their 4.00 findings…

 

According to their report, many PRX’s were in fact modified — pops, popsman, npdrm, np9660, mlnbridge, sysmem, umdcache, sysconf, video — just to name a few. Fortunately it’s said these changes do not pose much of a problem for the development of future custom firmwares.

 

Whether Dark_AleX/M33 or MIRIAM release custom firmware 4.00; that’s another story. I guess we’ll find out one way or the other.

at this point I am happy with 3.80 M33 I don't see any reason to update until a game forces me to.

 

I've always been a "if it ain't broke, don't update" kinda guy.
