Networking To Xbox 360?

Wondering if this is possible. i have a onboard Ethernet on my computer. curious if i can somehow take my wireless internet and run it threw my LAN to my 360?

Yes you can share your connection with your 360 over ethernet using ICS. If you want to stream movies/music over the network then you will need either Windows Media Connect, Zune, or WMP11.

Yep, as long as you have it set up properly. Internet Connection Sharing should do everything for you automatically.

Got a wireless router or a wireless service? In terms of latency, you'd be better off connecting straight to a router via ethernet than using ICS.

I have my 360 hardwired to a wireless router then my laptops and desktop are connected via wifi. works fine but sometimes the desktop will lose connection with the 360 during streaming video playback.

I think it is more a router issue though as it is a cheapy belkin router.

This is the situation. Its in a new apartment and i am trying to limit the drilling of the holes lol. he has his Highspeed hooked up threw a wireless router for my internet access. So i need to somehow take my wireless internet and i guess rout it threw my Ethernet plug in and into my 360. NO HOLES PLEASE
