Robert
http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2008/06/m...says-no-pr.html The Motion Picture Association of America said Friday intellectual-property holders should have the right to collect damages, perhaps as much as $150,000 per copyright violation, without having to prove infringement. Legalised extortion goes one step further... let's just randomly fine ppl.Welcome to Bush's America.
Lucandrake
Is this really legal? I want to have rights too! I claim murder without reason and stealing money for the good of man kind!
Smilee
It's not being put to practice, but that's a pretty extreme consideration right there.

gavin19
his hands are in oil and construction. not records and movies. you can't blame bush for everything. thats retarded. I don't know if he has anything to do with this, but Bush has received many millions of campaign donations from a lot of the major TV/Studio Networks like Disney, Fox, Time Warner, CBS, NBC and Viacom, amongst others. Why wouldn't he profit from other industries?
Inky
jeez you guys are right it was bush! the Canadian, Irishmen and Australian said so. who the flock are you gonna blame next year? all the worlds hardships and flockups don't boil down to one idiot president. OverlordMondo
Yeah, I can see poor treatment of foreign countries, and wars started for the wrong reasons, and finished for different wrong reasons, being the fault of Bush. I can't immediately blame this on Bush, though. At best Bush let it by or gave it a small push, this is the MPAA's fault, and they should be taken down. Bush is done in a year anyway. Hopefully we'll have someone decent in office (Obama plug).
Inky
the sad thing is neither candidate this election is worth a sh1t. McCain is a crazy old man that will be more of the same and Obama doesn't have any real experience. just a wide eyed naive "yes we can" speech. we're flocked for another 4-8 years no matter what. Xtreme2damax
Whats sad is that courts probably won't question this, even if they may be suing someone who is totally innocent. Damn f'd up USA Judicial system!
