gavin19
Bill Gates may have only just said his goodbyes, but the Microsoft machine keeps on running with the company announcing information about the release of Windows 7. The paint may not have even dried on the Windows that is Vista, but it seems that Microsoft is already looking to launch its successor within the next two years. Source Vista is pure drivel, hopefully this will be an improvement. Edited June 29, 2008 by gavin19
Chaotica
Vista before Service Pack 1 isn't very good, but I think Vista with Service Pack 1 is better then XP. I like Vista. It's easy to use, easy to nagivate, runs almost everything you throw at it and is pretty to look at.
Weirdy
I hope they go for something more modular with Windows 7.
Lucandrake
Even with SP1 I hate vista, and I don't foresee 7 being any better (aside the touch screen).
Inky
now that sp1 is out and most hardware is working correctly I like vista just fine. windows 7 is at least 3 to 4 years out anyways.
Wizard
Windows 7 is the response to all the big companies "We have all this hardware, we ARE NOT GOING TO THROW IT AWAY JUST FOR VISTA".
