Null DC mvc2

im using null DC 1.6 beta on my windows vista and it keeps slowing down really bad when the battles start... can anyone help me plz

32-bit Operating System

 

I'm not that good with computers, and my NullDc 1.6 beta runs all my games slow.

Is my Laptop even capable of playing these games? Is there anything I have to do in order to make NullDc run perfectly?
