TheOneXII Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 I downloaded Mame 32k, and cut and pasted my games from my winkawaks folder into it. Mame 32k won't play any of the kof games while win kawaks will. Whats up with that? I tried re-downloading them and it's still the samething. Can someone give assistance on this problem?

Did you also copy over the neogeo.zip from WinKawaks?
Agozer Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Which version of Kawaks were you using? Note that MAME requires the MAME Neo-Geo BIOS as well as MAME -specific sets.
Weirdy Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 simple answer: the kawaks roms are too new do you realize how ancient Mame32k is? chances are that you've become part of some kaillera community if you want to use mame32k they'll probably point you in the direction of proper rom sets (we won't)
Robert Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 I'm pretty sure he'll need the MAME neogeo.zip, it has more roms in it than what is needed by the other emulators.
