Ouch! I think that bladder check was a cystoscopy. I've had to do that before and it was a very unpleasant experience. That'll give you burning urination for a long time. I don't know about two weeks though.

And to answer your question, I would never do a vasectomy. You never know when you want to change your mind in the future. It gets lonely when you get older, and realize you have no family, no children, and it's just you.

Things so irreversible and fundamentally foolish as vasectomies make me wonder what failed criteria (if any) are used to distribute life to the stupid creatures that would so quickly sacrifice the ability to reproduce simply to have more sex.
