eddie murphy has been fail ever since he went from edgy/ cussing to family friendly/ multiple roles. the only good movie he's been in since beverly hills cop series was bowfinger. and that was more because of steve martin.

back in the day the day being the 80's eddie murphy was a pretty good comedian, but like inky said thats when he was doing the adult gritty comedy which he was good at, then he got into doing the multiple roles crap and he just died as a comedian to me.

I just watched Coming to America in HD last night too. Not as good as I remembered it. I think the last film of his I watched was BHC3. That was enough. I have Bowfinger lying around here somewhere, might dig it out.
