Earthbound(Mother) NDS and Wii Remake?

The development of the Wii system, it is expected that EarthBound will be released for the Virtual Console. Rumors have also been circulating regarding the release of the entire Mother trilogy for the Nintendo DS.

 

What do you think or expectations in case the All-Time classic,humorous,kick-a$$ RPG for the SNES will be when nintendo releases EarthBound or Mother for the DS or Wii???

I'll be happy if they bring Mother 3 over officially. 3D remakes? Well that would depend, since M3 was originally suppose to be in 3D, I'd like to see their effort now that technologies have changed since 99.

As far as releases on western VC, you might get Mother 1 and 2. I really don't know what would come out for nds since all three came out on GBA, if only in Japan. I don't think there are plans to make anymore .

...the fan translation of Mother 3 isn't too far away from completion.
