Mag
Oh and Japan will like FF and pie forever it seems. That's another thing about losing the FF exclusivity, it'll give the 360 a much needed boost in the Japanese market. The reason why I said that is because it's already been confirmed that FFXIII is being released on the 360 ONLY in North America and Europe. This may change though. I'm upset but what is the point in crying about it? I'm sure 360 fanboy's were upset when a lot of their games went multi-platform, but they survived.what in the blue are you smoking? obviously your head is not where it's at. Final Fantasy XIII: 360 development starting after PS3 versionby Ludwig Kietzmann Jul 14th 2008 11:45PM When is Final Fantasy XIII coming out? To deliver even a vague answer, you'll need to consider the long and winding path the immensely anticipated RPG still has to take -- and the Xbox 360 version isn't about to take a shortcut. Speaking at a special Square Enix Q&A event at E3, Square Enix exec Shinji Hashimoto detailed the developer's strategy, taking care to consider not only the game's multiplatform development, but its localization period as well. Final Fantasy XIII is currently being developed using Square Enix's "Crystal Tools" technology with the PC as base platform. "As we have already announced, we will complete the PS3 version in Japan," explained Hashimoto. "After that, we will start the localization for US and Europe." Once localization is underway, Square will begin development of the Xbox 360 version, with the aim of releasing it in America (with no meaningful content changes) alongside the localized PlayStation 3 version. "Because of languages and other conditions, it may not release in US and Europe simultaneously," noted Hashimoto.http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/14/final-fa...ter-ps3-versio/

You could've watched the press conference, watched the trailer, and just about every other news source out there stating that it's not coming to the 360 in Japan. Just a thought though... Gouken
Or both of you could realize that the bolded sentence is just worded horribly. http://ps3.qj.net/FFXIII-producers-talk-Xb...g/49/aid/122265But the juicy part is when they were asked if there had been any negative reaction from Japanese Xbox 360 owners about the FFXIII announcement since (quoting the interview question) "It's not coming out on 360 there, and Japanese gamers won't be able to play the U.S. import on their systems, since the console's region-locked. To this they replied: "There doesn't seem to be any overly negative feedback yet, as Japanese users have known since the beginning that it's coming to PS3. " Done. OverlordMondo
But that American kid who knows everything about Japan said that the country would boycott Square-Enix for the travesty of making a game multi-platform! Surely there must be negative feedback somewhere, right?
