How's the graphics card in the laptop? Have you tried any games like Crysis on it to see how they run? I know that a few graphics cards from nVidia were defective, but I don't think the one you had was on the list.

I don't think I could get Crysis to work. Heck I could not even get the max setting for C&C3 (i could set to max setting but it run slow )
