Emulation with mdf image

Well ,i try to use null dc to get the mdf iso emulated but didint work

I think i need convert this mdf to cdi image,

isnt it?

But how i do that?

You shouldn't need to convert anything. Mount the image with Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% and boot it.

 

What emulator are you using?

He's using nullDC..

 

Also if it still doesn't work, tell us what game you're trying to run.

im using null dc

i have some isos in .mdf

actually i trying to run sonic

i mount with daemon

but the emulator dont get the proper .mdf extension

just .cdi,.mds,.nrg and .gdi...

Ah, my bad, didn't see it the first time. MDS is similar to a CUE file, i.e. it describes the CD image used and how a given program should use it in oder to use it properly. If your sonic didn't comes with an MDS file, you are at a dead end.

 

What you can try is to mount the MDF image, and make nullDc use the GDROM SCSI passthrough plugin for disc access. Configure it to read data from the virtual drive and use File --> HLE GDROM Boot.

i did what u said

initialize like an audio cd

and i put to play it

appears "insert disc"

i coudnt load the boot

Then you need to get another image, or try that image conversion you spoke of.

I thought that the images had to be self-booting or used in conjunction with Utopia boot disk to get them to work with NullDC?

Yeah, that's true. IIRC, a non-selfboot disc still shouldn't say "Insert Disc".
