Yes, albeit slowly. There is no support for OpenGL in anything but software mode in Xbox Linux.

 

Using a pre-0.88 core build (Does one exist? I don't know when SDLMame came about), you would have a better time with it, as MAMEs core went from speedy > SUCKS @$$ after that.

 

I've run the latest SDLMame in Ubuntu on my laptop in software mode, and it smoked the pants off MAMEUI (MAME32) on XP with directdraw/3d acceleration enabled.

the thing is im happy with mame on xbox but i want to play the raiden fighters series and viper phase1,both on the seubi arcade hardware.ive got mameox128plus and that plays raiden fighters2 2000(chinese bootleg).

the other raiden games load up and then crash obviously these were added to later versions of mame so maybe i should just bite the bullet and download a pc version of mame.
