japanese 360 on a pal tv.

with the announcment of a 30% price cut to the 360 in japan i am seriously thinking of buying one for all these shmups that aregoing to be released.

i have a 37inch hdlcd tv and its only a year old so should the nstc signal be ok or would i need some kind of signal converter to get a good clear picture.or if i use an hdmi cable would the signal not matter after that?

I don't think that pal and ntsc really mean anything in the HDTV world. but I could be wrong.... HDTV is pretty standardized across the world, right?
