Spore. Yay or Nay?

I was thinking of picking a copy of Spore up tomorrow seeing as Brothers in arms hells highway has been put back a week.

 

I dont have an internet connection at my house so I'm pretty much guessing that the DRM system that requires you to activate over the internet would render the game useless to me?

 

Is that right?

 

I think the hacked RELOADED version would probably be a better choice.

Don't bother "renting" spore, seriously, do yourself a favor and "burrow" it from the depths of the internet, EA fuked up with the DRM sh!t and they shouldn't get a dime until it's ripped completely off the program.

I had a choice Stalker clear sky, or spore.

I would of got a bad deal with which ever I bought that day. Stalker is full of bugs and has ruined my experiance of the game, however if I had got spore I would probably have had a fit of rage.

I had some fun with Spore. Wouldn't recommend buying it for the DRM reasons, but it's worth playing if you can.

it was fun for the 6 hours i played it...then the save state had me screwed...i would load it and then my civilization would die...and you can only have one save game per world/game...so i just stopped playing...

I thought this game sucked.

It was boring. I got to the tribe bit then just stopped playing.
