Yes, I found the string very easily, you just need to search for 0405FFFF.

Just like in MAME XBE's you need to search it in reverse.

 

Here, right from + T +:

 

"(...) You can however change the default directory yourself by opening the default.xbe in a hex editor, searching for the values 04 05 FF FF, and changing them to whatever you like. The new save folder will have the same name as these values but in reverse (ffff0504 in the example above). (...)"

 

I am very very busy but soon will set up Blue Balls to run it under

a different save location as my FBA-XXX Pro 1.28.

So do we need a skin with 5 categories ? In order to display the romset info's correctly? beta,others,cps1,cps2,ng. I was working on a new skin b4 i got sidetracked

you used to get betas in the others folder of fbaxxx1.28,so i doubt you would need 5 catagories mt.

just a thought.
