Cominus
I got my PC new about a few months ago and the only upgrade I've made was a Video Card. I was wondering what kind of games could I play with my set-up? Intel Dual Core CPU 2.20GHz3Gb Ram500Gb HDGforce 8600 GT 526Mb DDR Video Card. Wizard
Dead Space. Don't matter if your CPU is "underpowered" by emsley's standards. It's still good and still has alot of kick in it left for 5-6 more years. Video card wise, your alright. I reckon you can play Medium-High ranges depending on your screen res. ken_cinder
I was about to say that myself. There are still people running single cores, playing the latest games..........albeit not as well as dual/quad users. Your specs are little better than mine, you'll be fine. It's all in how you use your hardware, not entirely in what you have.Just keep things clean, don't have processes running you don't need, keep your hard drive defragged and even with 3GB of physical RAM allocate 1-2GB of FIXED (Don't let windows manage, FORCE a size) swap space (Preferably on another hard drive)

Far Cry 2 should run good on that rig. Crysis is pushing it though....
Inky
as Emsley said, Crysis sucks anyways. all its good for is pushing your rig to the limit. the only PC game I've been playing lately is World Of Goo.
