Shibathedog
Im using Nero 5 but im guessing the layouts of 6 and 5 are similar SHIBATHEDOG'S PSX GAME BURNING GUIDE USING NERO 5 TO COPY AND ORIGINAL GAME Open Nero Hit CLOSE WIZARD On the left of the new window hit CD COPY go into the read options tab under DATA MODE ONE in that window click the FORCE RAW READING box Go into the BURN tab For the WRITE METHOD pick DOA (Disc-At-Once) Pick your burn speed (slower speeds are more reliable) click burn TO BURN AN IMAGE Open Nero Click CLOSE WIZARD click CANCEL Go to FILE CLick OPEN IMAGE Open your image in the new window go to the BURN tab Pick DOA (Disc-At-Once) write method Pick burn speed (lower speeds are more reliable) Hit Burn

JonmanHBK
I burn PSX images just exactly as in SHIBATHEDOG's guide,on ePSXe emulator most of the games work fine, but on PSX console itself, it freezes after the logo I think I have this mod chip, coz what I have is the thingfor playing multi system and CD-R's.Any ideas? Shibathedog
maybe your mod chip, i use that method all the time and i dont use a mod chip, i use the method in my guide thats stikied somewhere on this forum and it works fine I HAVE had that happen with Tekken 3 before though, but i reburned it and it worked fine it could just be that the CD-Rs your using are crap or that it just didnt burn right. JonmanHBK
hard to say that it didn't burn right as they all work on emulator. The CD's I use are Silver Line. Does PSX really care about the brand of the CD?about the mod chip, as far as I know without it you can't play CD-R games at all. Please correct me if I'm mistaken. Thx for your help. Shibathedog
yeah look at my PSX swap trick thats how you get a CD-R to work without a chip also the PSX DOES care about the brand for several reasons The chemicals in the CDs are a different kind/quality/density of chemical with different brands, a Computers CD Drive is very powerfull and can read them all where a PSX's drive is weaker (to save cost too hehe) and cannot read certain kinds/densities/quality of the chemicals. I use Imation, Memorex, and Verbatim and they all work perfect If you are too lazy to find my swap trick, its Here http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php...?showtopic=2465
K9999
Thing about CDs, most CDs should work, but special 2 dollar ones mostly dont work as they are "special" and have a special type of coat and chemical in them. for example: Verbatim super AZ0 will not be able to play any video in a game. Also, all rewritable discs cannot be read. My method is to get a program called "Fantom CD"(go to google and search for: Fantom CD Download.) On fantom CD put the image into the screen (if you look, you would see an option) then go to burn image to CD onto a CD. This has never failed me excapt once when i tried to put chrono cross on a Rewritable CD.
