The good news is that the kidneys have to get REALLY REALLY damaged for bad symptoms to show up. Like 15-20% of effective power. Robert Posted December 17, 2008 Author Share Posted December 17, 2008 Something for Gryph to salivate over... Right kidney is slightly enlarged and there is some perinephric stranding. There is dilation of the right collecting system and ureter. There is suggestion of a small calculus at the right uretic orifice. It seems that there is a uric stone at the bottom of the tube just where it enters the bladder. It still hasn't gone, although I feel much better. Elazul Yagami Posted January 9, 2009 Share Posted January 9, 2009 ok based on my (somewhat limited) medical knowledge, and what i understood from a doctor friend of mine, it's most likely increased salts in your system (a primary form of kidney stones) here's what was recommended: 1- increase your intake of water2- cut your salt intake for at least 2 weeks... by cut, that means no more than a teaspoon worth of salt per 2 days. so no pickles or freaking mcdonalds either.3- drink/eat things such as beats,hibiscus, honey, and sugarcane4- while medications primarily act on the liver, avoid any non prescribed medications for a duration of 2 weeks. you should be fine afterwards. but i could be wrong, so make sure you go to your doc regularly. The filtration rate should be >90, currently at 60.When it drops to 30 a new kidney is required. So, looks liked I am fukked. dont worry. there was a guy who had been diagnosed with cancer.he jumped out of a window because he did not want ti deal with kemotherapy. after an mri scan on his dead body, turns out, it was beef in his lungs!the poor man killed himself for nothing. he had beef the night before.
