kevc
Is it possible to convert an NRG file to a CDI file? I use nulldc which cannot play NRG's. Thank you.
Inky
I don't know if there is any conversion software. but if all else fails you could burn it in nero then rip it back to cdi.
Tynvar
Or just load to a virtual drive and rip from there. There's no need to burn.
kevc
Thanks for the replies. I'm not 100% on how to do either solution. Nero doesn't recognise my NRG file, and I would not know how to burn to a virtual drive. I'm a quick learner though so if you could give me a few pointers that would be great. Tynvar
When you install software like nero, alcohol, magic iso, disc juggler... you have the option to add virtual drives. Virtual drives show up in My PC like normal CD/DVD units but have the option to load an image. Once you load your image to that drive then you can tell the software to rip the image to the format you wish from that drive like if it were a normal CD/DVD unit. Or you can just run the image from that drive, without the need to burn, your best bet would be to turn that nrg to something more common not just cdi. But it really doesn't matter. gavin19
Nero doesn't recognise an image in it's very own format? Strange. Discjuggler to convert to cdi. UltraISO is capable of handling most other image files, including NRGs. It also has a virtual drive like Alcohol, Daemon etc.
Tynvar
Maybe he's using one of the feebie Nero express things. But I doubt it can't read nrg, maybe the file is corrupted.
Agozer
Nero's products read their own formats ragardless of the software version you use.
