SF2MJ Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Was SAMURAI SHODOWN VI ever released in the arcades? I just got the Samurai Shodown Anthology game for the PSP,and noticed that it had Samurai Shodown VI on it. I love to be able to play it on my xbox through a mame emulator if it was released in the arcades. It's brilliant.Has practically every SS character ever released in it.As well as 7 new ones.
Rick_Son Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Actually it was in certain areas of the us. The Only places I remember playing it was at Chinatown, NY and Philadelphia, PA
L.S.D Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Yes, it is released in the arcades here too. But i haven't get the chance to play it yet. Do they still keep the finishers from V special?
Wizard Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Yes, it was released in arcades. But under a different name. It was renamed to SS6 for the english release.

NameUser Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 The description on SNK Playmore's official site (snkplaymoreusa.com) says that Samurai Showdown VI sees its North American debut in SS:Anthology. If there are a few places in the US that have it, it was probably an import. I could be wrong, though. Atomiswave. No way in hell that's playing on the xbox. :S tru. lulz
