Lucandrake Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Something small (100gb) but high quality. Something that can shot at and won't brake (not literally but you know what I mean). Also not something that is known for reformatting itself or might get corrupted data for one reason or another.
L.S.D Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 My Maxtor has not bee giving me problem until now. So does my Western Digital.
Alpha Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 My Maxtor has not bee giving me problem until now. So does my Western Digital. What problem are you having?
L.S.D Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Well, if i jerk the Maxtor suddenly while it is transferring files, the whole data in the HDD is gone! I lost my whole collection of PSP ISOs because of that and have to redownload everything
ken_cinder Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Why not take a proper internal drive and stick it in an enclosure? These external drives are built so damn cheap, they fully intend for them to break down after awhile so you'll go and buy another one. An internal drive in an enclosure will last forever, well.....you know what I mean.
2eyez Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I have 2 Wester Digital 640 gig HDD. No problems so far. Just remember that they come in FAT32 and not NTFS. Oh yeah, mine has a 5yr warranty.
