Diso Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 It was definitely better when we had more control over the channel like Gamesurge. We could screw around with each other and the topic and what not. With the bots in EFnet, we kept losing op, kept getting banned (although they were our fault) by the robot revolution and junk. We'll see what happens if we decide to revive it someday.
2eyez Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I actually came in and set up an Fserv for awhile and nobody came. Ohh well.
Alpha Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 I figured EMU-LMAO would cover this: 12/31/2008GameCop mourns dead IRC channel. Blames self? In hilarious emunews, GameCop has decided to publicly mourn one of the latest in dead emulation IRC channels. #1Emu, never heard of it! So the kid arrives in IRC land in 2004, when emulation's downward spiral actually started at least two years earlier, and then tries to take blame himself for their site's IRC channel dying, when the spiral was in place much earlier? Sheesh, at least be like Reirom or something legit. Like make a fake emulator like Kallus2. Emulation IRC channels have been losing their popularity for almost a decade now, get with the times man Source: http://emulmao.emuchrist.org/news.htmlOh well.
Diso Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Eh We were doing so well with ignoring Emu-lmao. We're only giving them popularity by posting their garbage here.
