Due to regulations from the local culture committees, they broadcast french productions during about half the day (like the oldschool franco-japano co-productions, broadcasted during the least busy times, basically airtime "filler" for late nights and early mornings). (not unlike what they have in the rest of europe and Canada for example, about giving the local audiovideo production a minimum airtime between to a third or half of total daily/weekly airtime).
