Bong_Ninja Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 (edited) Nice:) BUT WHY DON'T ANY OF MY NEOGEO ROMS WORK WITH IT NOW??? Is this the result of dropping support for the decrypted M ROMs? Very annoyed here. Umm nevermind.... I found the updated Bios file:p Geez why did it even need updated? The NeoGeo Bios is the NeoGeo Bios is it not? Edited January 31, 2009 by Bong_Ninja
Agozer Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 You also need to update your romsets because:* Removed decrypted M ROMs from NeoGeo sets....* Changed various CPS2, CPS1 and NeoGeo ROM names to match MAME (0.129).
Bong_Ninja Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 maybe you need to update your neogeo.zip? Yup I found it already:p But thanks for replying:) It's 852 Kb! I read a long time ago that the genuine article should be 55 Kb and if it's any other size then it's no good... And what about the Uni-Bios? Has that been updated as well?
Agozer Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 The Universe BIOS is still at version 2.3 the last time I checked. EDIT: No. make that 3.0, but that was released last September.
fumanchu Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 so is it just a case of running your roms through the dats?
