gjackx
Just like the subject reads, would it be possible to use the Sega Geneis Light Gun "The Justifier" (which came with Lethal Enforcers) on a PC with MAME? I came across mine recently and got to thinking. Thanks in advance!
Agozer
If you can get Windows to recognize it, yes.
Tynvar
If you can get Windows to recognize it, yes. Does they monitor you use matter though? (refresh, res, max colors) I'm not sure how a lightgun works.
ken_cinder
Must be a CRT, with a refresh rate of 60hz or higher (Maybe fixed at 60hz, depending on how the circuitry is designed). LCD/Plasma won't work.

LCD/Plasma won't work. This could be my problem, I'm using an LCD monitor. I've got one of these, so I think I can possibly get windows to recognize it: http://www.raphnetshop.com/products/atari2usb/ Thanks for the info! ken_cinder
There's no guarantee even with a CRT it will work. It fully depends on the circuitry involved. If the lightgun does all the calculation itself and sends the data to the system for targeting based on existing control inputs, it will work. If the lightgun expects a CPU and or DSP in the original system to do the calculations, you're SOL.
