ken_cinder Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 cigarette prices have gone mental here in California.2 weeks ago a carton was around 34 bucks. today.... almost 50.I heard about an Indian place where you can get generic brands for 14 bucks. I need to check into that. I pay even less than that, which makes it even harder. I pay $12 CAD (Something like $9.75 USD, gotta love that tanked dollar!) for a carton of natives that taste no different really than the brand names that are like $80 a carton. 800 in a "carton" (bag), it costs me and my wife less than a brand name carton for smokes for a month. I hate the taste and smell but when those withdrawals kick in, they control me so I'm 'dozing down that wall bit by bit. No cold turkey for me.
