My wife and I are seriously considering getting out of california in the next year or 2. it's a tight race between southern oregon, northern arizona and colorado.

lol, that doesnt sound too different from san francisco at all, just replace the indians with every other ethnic group and switch meth with crack, crack-cocaine, and pure peruvian cocaine

Ever been to Chicago? Downtown is nice, but you go south and it starts to get a little... erm... nasty.

 

As for me, I think I'd check out France or Italy. Every French person I've ever spoken to seems genuinely nice. Italy because the women there are top notch.
