iq_132
I'm trying to make it work but I'm always getting some errors: You're missing roms (don't ask where to get them) and on top of that, even if you do locate the rom, there isn't an emulator that exists that runs it. SHJordan
I got the roms, but where do I extract them? Also could you please enlist some games like metal slug? I mean so addicting and that could be played as well on mame?
Agozer
You don't extract roms out of their respective archives. Put the archives in MAME's roms directory.

In the Hunt, Contra, Super Contra, Aliens, Gunforce, Gunforce 2, Cyber Lip and Midning Resistance come to mind.

SHJordan
Hmm... I think it does: midres : pal16r4a-1.bin (260 bytes) - NOT FOUNDmidres : pal16l8b-2.bin (260 bytes) - NOT FOUNDmidres : pal16l8a-3.bin (260 bytes) - NOT FOUNDmidres : pal16l8a-4.bin (260 bytes) - NOT FOUNDmidres : pal16l8b-5.bin (260 bytes) - NOT FOUNDmidres : pal16l8a-6.bin (260 bytes) - NOT FOUNDromset midres is bad1 romsets found, 0 were OK. Where do I get those? So Cyber-Lip:cyberlip: neodebug.rom (131072 bytes) - NOT FOUND (BIOS)cyberlip: neo-epo.bin (131072 bytes) - NOT FOUND (BIOS)cyberlip: neo-po.bin (131072 bytes) - NOT FOUND (BIOS)cyberlip: 010-m1.bin (131072 bytes) - NOT FOUNDromset cyberlip [neogeo] is bad1 romsets found, 0 were OK. Agozer
No, Midnight Resistance doesn't not use BIOS files. Your romset is outdated. PAL roms were added to midres and clones in 0.106u13. No, those aren't BIOS files, per se, just previously undumped ROMs from the arcade board. Cyber Lip is a Neo-Geo games, so yes, it uses the Neo-Geo BIOS, and you are missing some of the files in the Neo-Geo BIOS. Namely, you are missing the Debug BIOS and the Neo-Geo AES BIOS files (why would something like the Debug BIOS be considered a "must" in the BIOS set is anyone's guess). You are also missing the M1 ROM for Cyber Lip.
