emsley
The gig went well by the time I got set up I had allready had three pints... My mother came to watch, I did a lot fo cash songs nothing else - and I only sung one bad song but i think that was becasue I was getting feed back... The DJ on the night was an absaloute star I cant thank him enough his name was Bobby D!!!!! LOL I worked the crod and got them smiling - bar staff was dancing behind the bar - I got a lot of hand shakes and people were genuinly impressed with me, bare in mind this is the first time I have been through a Mic set up it was a supprise and I will need lots of practice going through a mic to really get sorted out for the future. I got my words wrong here and there and played a few bum chords (nerves) so I just stuck to the songs i had really cemented down in my head - I finished on mellow yellow!!! haha! Krosigrim
Good, I'm happy for you. Well now it'll be easier to get positive reactions from the ladies, right?
emsley
Yeah the old rule of "one likes you so the rest do" should play to my favour now in the pub.
Inky
don't sweat a few bad chords or messed up words. you'll find that most normal non musical people aren't really gonna notice while they are drinking and having a good time. you need to get someone to record your next gig so we can see it on youtube! emsley
Did not record it guys but word is spreading i did well a few ears are pricking up when my name is mentioned. Fucking pressure man!!! We were just a plain ol' hillbilly band with a plain ol' country styleWe never played the kind of songs that'd drive anybody wildPlayed a railroad song with a stomping beatWe played a blues song, kinda slow and sweetBut the thing that knocked them off of their feet was, ooh-weeWhen Luther played the boogie woogie, Luther played the boogie woogie!!! If i was backed up by a band It would be awesome!
