emsley Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Windows failed to find it. I thought these just plugged in and you were off? The only drivers I have are third party ones anyone help me out here?
iq_132 Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Are you on xp or vista? Anywho.http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download...p;sku=JR9-00001
emsley Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 The big green button now flashes. Not working yet but has detected it - said it has installed drivers when I unplugged it and put the controller back in but still nothing, will try a restart.
emsley Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 SHIT "The reason the wireless 360 pad wont work via the play and charge kit lead is it only sends a signal to the computer/360 to say it requires power. It still sends the signals wirelessly." Well still no street fighter 4 on pc untill wednesday ;(
Inky Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 yeah you have to get the wireless dongle for the wireless pad to work. shoulda got a wired one.
emsley Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 I only borrowed this so Ill tell my cousin to take it back - when wednesday comes ill probably get a cheap pad.
iq_132 Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 See if you can find yourself a cheap used 360 controller -- wired. They're quite fantastic. I don't even have a 360, but I use the controller exclusively on my pc. I even added rumble support to fba specifically for this thing.
Shibathedog Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 It might be cheaper to get a PS2 controller/PS2>USB Adapter. This pad is pretty badass too, but about the same price as a 360 controller (although it is wireless): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16826127209
Krosigrim Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Hell yea the logitec Dpad is superior to the 360 Dpad. If you don't need analog, go with This Like I told you in the other thread. I have 2 and they kick ass. If only they had a straight 6 and not that 4... but anyway thy are 8.14 british pounds.
Shibathedog Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 ooh I used to have a pad a lot like that, they are pretty good. Maybe mine was the version 1? EDIT: Oh and Saitek, can't go wrong with them
