Help me get this 360 pad working on pc?

Windows failed to find it.

I thought these just plugged in and you were off?

 

 

The only drivers I have are third party ones anyone help me out here?

The big green button now flashes.

Not working yet but has detected it - said it has installed drivers when I unplugged it and put the controller back in but still nothing, will try a restart.

yeah you have to get the wireless dongle for the wireless pad to work. shoulda got a wired one.

I only borrowed this so Ill tell my cousin to take it back - when wednesday comes ill probably get a cheap pad.

See if you can find yourself a cheap used 360 controller -- wired. They're quite fantastic. I don't even have a 360, but I use the controller exclusively on my pc. I even added rumble support to fba specifically for this thing.

It might be cheaper to get a PS2 controller/PS2>USB Adapter.

 

This pad is pretty badass too, but about the same price as a 360 controller (although it is wireless):

Hell yea the logitec Dpad is superior to the 360 Dpad.

 

If you don't need analog, go with This Like I told you in the other thread. I have 2 and they kick ass. If only they had a straight 6 and not that 4... but anyway thy are 8.14 british pounds.

ooh I used to have a pad a lot like that, they are pretty good. Maybe mine was the version 1?

 

EDIT: Oh and Saitek, can't go wrong with them
