My math is rusty as hell! But think I could get my head round it after a while.

I was really good at maths in hihg school then just got "bored" I thought drawing matchstick men the back of my maths book was way beter than long mulitplication...

Unfortunately, that's always the eternal struggle - keeping interest in something you have no interest in whatsoever. Just keep thinking of that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

I think I have the experiance and drive to do this, courses start in January.

Everything I have tried to do in the past has slapped or kicked me in the teeth.

i remember getting 400 pound a week plastering, to this day when I cashed my money it still felt like I did not disserve that amount - thats what working shitty menial jobs does to you.
