Rapier skin for XBMC (error)

I just downloaded and FTP'd the new Rapier skins into the correct folder, & when I goto select the new skin In XBMC I get error an stating "Incompatible skin. we require skins of version 1.30 or higher"

What did I do wrong.

the ersion of xbmc you are using might be to old,which version of xbmc did you download?

To be honest I'm not sure. where would I find out in settings?

there should be a text file in the xbmc folder which tells you which version you have.

I see "built on march 9th 2006" Build 1.1.0

right i m going to pm you a link to the latest biuld released 2 weeks ago,the biuld you have is older than my grandmother...

Okay I think I f'd up. I transfered the new version of XBMC to the same location as the other folder and now when I boot up, All i get is a blank screen after I boot up. I cant seen to FTP back into the box?

were you using a softmod or a chip in the box ?

the box was soft modded

Yep if I reboot the box, it goes thru the little xbox intro, after that is done it goes to a light greay/blue screen. Just sits there in retard mode.
