Question about kawaks config

I configured everything fine except for the save states (im using a gamepad), anyone know if theirs a way u can change the buttons for the save states? its normaly f5 and f7 but i wanna make it the L and R buttons on my controller..

I don't know if you can do it with Kawaks, but you can always use Joy2Key, a great little program that lets you assign any keyboard key to a joypad .
