James
So what is the brand and model number of the computer/mother board?
Shibathedog
2 Gigs is not just 2 Gigs, There are different speeds and timings of RAM. PC2-5300 is pretty slow compared to some of that stuff. The fastest kit there runs almost twice the speed of yours at stock speeds. If you want to buy just more of the same speed though try these: 4GB (4-4-4-12 timing) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820231120 2GB (4-4-4-10 timing) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820146112 They not only run at the same speed MHz wise but have tight stock timings. Note that you cannot run these at those timings unless you don't use your old ram because it is probably timed at 5-5-5-15 or slower.
