Neo369
hey guys, im still pretty new here and have been using coinops and am happy with it, but after this whole fiasco of what's going on, im starting to look at final burn. my only question involves the different versions of fb. so far i have seen:final burnfba-xfbaxxxfba-xxx profinal burn legendswhat is the difference between each one? are they simply updates on each other with new names? i am aware that final burn legends is the most recent, but is that an update of all other versions shown here or does each one have something specific that is different about it?also, will fbl (if it is the best option here) play most arcade games that coinops plays? i have heard performance can be better to?? i am most interested in old school arcade classics (pacman, galaga, pole position, etc.), mortal kombat and the like, neogeo, cps and cps2.thanks for any and all input. please no flaming about coinops or bp, thats not my intention here. cba.gy
Go with FBL 1.1, for some real old titles that FBL misses you could use any of the old mame variants although i would have to reccommend CoinOps for this job. FBL 1.1 uses new mame rom sets. CoinOps uses 0.84 rom sets. The only difference really between the FBA emulators is FBL 1.1 incorporates all of the previous fixes and drivers and so should be regarded as the latest in a way.
